The emblem


Royal coat of arms of Great Britain - is the official emblem of the British monarch (at present - Elizabeth II). Other members of the royal family and government use other emblems. The royal coat of arms was found in two versions, one of which is only used in Scotland.

In the usual version of the emblem, two lions and leopards, seven: six reinforced azure gold leopard on a shield, with three in the 1st and 4th fields into 4 parts divided shield (they correspond to England). Scarlet reinforced azure lion in the second field represents Scotland. Crowned leopard adorns the crest (Клейнод). Golden crowned lion as supporters supports the shield on the right. On the other hand supports a shield encased in a chain unicorn.
